The standard unit measures about 43 inches wide and holds a 60-gallon tank, enough for an estimated 150 to 200 uses across two days before it needs service. For a 40-guest graduation cookout in Avondale or a Sunday afternoon reunion in Hyde Park, one standard unit clears the weekend; past roughly 75 guests or a two-day festival, a second unit or a flushing model keeps wait lines short.

Access controls the drop. A weekend unit needs a firm, level spot about 4 feet by 4 feet with an approach path at least 34 inches wide for the delivery cart. Narrow Bridgeport and Pilsen gangways, the tight coach-house lots off Logan Square side streets, and stair-only rear yards all matter, a photo of the placement spot before delivery prevents a wasted trip. For a public-way placement on a Chicago sidewalk, parkway, or street lane, a City of Chicago permit is required and must be arranged by the property or event holder before the unit lands; private driveways, backyards, and parking lots need no permit.

The sequence is short. First, the address, gate width, and drop day are confirmed by phone. Second, the unit is delivered Thursday or Friday and set on the chosen spot. Third, it stays put through Saturday and Sunday. Fourth, the driver returns Monday to pump the tank and remove the unit. Sunday collections are limited, so a job needing the unit gone by Sunday night should flag that at booking. If a party runs a single Saturday, the weekend flat rate still applies because pickup cannot happen until the next business day. If a project stretches past three days, a week-long Wicker Park deck rebuild, for instance, a weekly or monthly rental costs less per day than stacking weekend charges. A weekend rental is not a serviced monthly unit: the tank is not pumped mid-rental, so it must last the two to three days on the single delivery-day fill.
